Wear Now, Wear Later: Suarez Sisters
Taking your favorite summer pieces into the cooler weather of fall can be tricky, so in the spirit of the season’s dualities, we’ve asked our favorite duos to show you how it’s done. Natalie Lim Suarez, model, singer and editor of Natalie Off Duty, and Dylana Lim Suarez, fashion blogger, writer and photographer, show you how they styled their favorite Rebecca Taylor pieces for the upcoming transition to Fall.
Look 1:

Summer suiting is simple when done in a matching, greyish blue, kept fresh with simple styling and contrasting yellow mules. Plus, a leopard maxi may have a long hem, but its light ruffles are warm weather ready.

Try unlikely color pairings to convey the transitional weather, such as the summer blue hue with an autumn perfect carnelian. Neutral toned accessories balance the bold palette.

Then, a summer maxi needs only a swap of shoes, as knee high boots compliment length for a bit more cool-weather coverage. But adding a mixed-print light knit can take the look to new heights.

Look 2:

Leather for end of summer can be done, when paired with breezy staples. Buttery vegan leather on a midi skirt and trouser add luxe edge to a classic voluminous red blouse and peplum waist blazer.

The pants become a head-to-toe look when paired with a coordinating leather top, this time in a burgundy hue. Both looks get a feminine twist when paired with delicate pointy-toe pumps.

With fall arriving, leather gets updated with even more leather. The tie neck blouse layers perfectly under a full leather jumpsuit for a romantic touch to a tough ensemble.
