Wear Now, Wear Later: Rentmeester Sisters
Taking your favorite summer pieces into the cooler weather of fall can be tricky, so in the spirit of the season’s dualities, we’ve found our favorite duos to show you how it’s done. Coliena Rentmeester, photographer, and Marlien Rentmeester, former fashion editor and founder of Le Catch, are the stylish twin sisters behind @ouiwant. Here, they show you how they styled their favorite Rebecca Taylor pieces for the upcoming transition.
A one-and-done jumpsuit is an easy, breezy piece for instant polished style. Plus, you can never go wrong with a classic white shirt and denim combo, dressed up with a tweed blazer.
Tweed and denim pair up again, but this time it’s layering a more relaxed-fit jacket over summer’s spotted denim jumpsuit. To take the jeans into fall, swap out the tee for a button up, add another layer of denim, and the monochrome layers still compliment summer’s lightweight tweed blazer.

A lightweight twill gauze top keeps you cool even when paired with denim for an end of summer everyday look. Or shorten your denim pick with a tie-waist skirt, paired with a fun printed blouse.
Sandals are traded for heels and the layers come on for the first days of fall. Swap out your white embroidery for a dark grounded floral, subtle enough to mix with a striped pullover on those cooler days. The skirt gets replaced with full length jeans, and weather appropriate refinement is added with a ruffle front blazer.
